フットボールへの全ての信頼が、元の鞘に収まる時がある。ピッチ上で繰り広げられる90分間のことを話してるんだ。ごまかしや評論のことなんか忘れて、がっちり集中するんだ。 22人の選手、道理にかなった結果が目の前に現れる。その間、自分のクラブを取り巻く問題もそっちのけだ。眼前で展開される出来事に、ただ、視線を注ぐことができる。 むき出しの感情だ。
それは昨晩のこと。クラブ史上で最大の試合だ。満杯の観客、騒々しいアウェイファン、明らかな緊張感。ホームファンの緊張感が選手に乗り移る、いや、その逆だったのか？
